Licence terms

Full licence terms will be published here before licences go on sale. This page sets out the intended shape of those terms so there are no surprises when they land. It is a summary of intent, not the contract itself.

What a licence is

  • A licence permits you to install and run the licensed title or titles on the number of machines the licence covers.
  • Licences are per machine, not per event and not per audience member. There is no cap on how many events you run or how many people are in the room.
  • Licences are issued to a person or organisation and are not intended to be resold or sublicensed.

What you can do with it

  • Run it at commercial events, including events you are paid to produce.
  • Film, stream and publish footage of your own event, including the game on screen.
  • Move a licence between machines you control, subject to the activation limit on your licence.

What you cannot do

  • Redistribute, resell or sublicense the software itself.
  • Share licence keys outside your organisation.
  • Reverse-engineer the software, except where law expressly permits it regardless of contract.

Refunds

Intended position: if it does not work in your room and we cannot get it working with you, you get your money back. We would rather refund you than have a bad show attached to our name. Nothing here removes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

What we do not promise

We are going to be blunt, because pretending otherwise helps nobody.

This software depends on physical conditions we do not control — camera position, lighting, room shape, and whether the audience joins in. How it works documents the known limits, including camera positions where calibration becomes unreliable. Test in your actual room before your actual event. We cannot warrant that a given room will produce a good result, and we will tell you in advance if we think yours will struggle.
